La Fabril strengthens relations with ESPOL | La Fabril

The relationship between the industrial, productive, and the academic world is a characteristic of developed societies that should be ever more leveraged in Ecuador; an example of this is the visit made by managers of La Fabril at the end of May to the facilities of the Escuela Politecnica del Litoral (ESPOL) to identify opportunities for mutual cooperation between the two institutions.

During the tour, they visited the facilities of the Center for Biotechnological Research of Ecuador, as well as food laboratories, Metrological and Materials Testing and Industrial Automation sites.

“In our Company, we define ourselves as “the Industry of Ideas” due to the permanent innovation of processes and the high quality of our products, which meet rigorous standards set forth by Ecuadorian authorities and in order to meet international quality standards,” said Jose Cedeño, Project Manager for Manufacturing, stressing the importance of liaising with universities such as ESPOL.

The Company continuously receives students from different centers of higher education in their facilities in order to share technical-scientific expertise and so that they may learn the various production processes.

In fact, in the next few days, it is expected that managers and academicians of ESPOL will visit a plant of the Company with the purpose of evaluating the technical needs the Company has and to develop proposals for joint work.

Cedeño ratified that the desire of La Fabril is to strengthen strategic alliances to optimize research and development processes with universities and to jointly contribute toward the improvement of the indexes of agro-industrial production in Ecuador.
