The La Fabril Group is now a member of The Forest Trust | La Fabril

On behalf of the La Fabril Group, we are pleased to report that we are now new members of The Forest Trust (TFT), an international non-profit organization, which works with businesses and communities around the world to promote responsible supply chains in various sectors, including that of palm oil.

This membership reached at the end of March, makes the La Fabril Group the first Ecuadorian conglomerate and the third Company in Latin America to join the TFT. Likewise, it once again confirms our commitment to the sustainable production of palm oil.

In collaboration with TFT, we will execute a work plan based on the guidelines set forth in the Sustainability Policy for the Responsible Production of Palm Oil that we presented at the end of March.

Within the initiatives, we have those that ensure the conservation and responsible handling of High Conservation Value areas and high carbon dioxide and peat bogs where we get our raw materials, thus implementing management models to create stronger relationships of mutual benefit with small producers and other stakeholders that make up our value chain, as well as those that raise actions for the prevention, identification, and resolution of conflicts.
